PRICING AND PAYMENT OPTIONS

For Locals (Singaporean)

All prices are listed in Singapore dollars (SGD), US dollars (USD) and Great Britain pounds (GBP).

Where no currency is stated, prices are in SGD.

Payment can be made by local bank transfer to my POSB account. Interbank transfer and Paypal (plus fees) is also accepted.

Credit card payments are not accepted directly and must be settled via Paypal (plus fees).

No concealed cash is accepted. COD transactions are available.

For International Buyers

All prices in USD and GBP are calculated based on current exchange rates to the date of posting (USD1 = SGD1.45 / GBP1 = SGD2.06).

Prices in USD and GBP reflect Paypal fees ONLY, not shipping and handling (unless stated). If you have questions about the rates please email me directly.

Payment via Paypal is currently the only mode accepted. If you are in Singapore, I would be happy to meet you and do a COD transaction.

CUSTOMISATION

I am happy to accept custom requests in the order they are received. At the moment, customisation slots are all full – if you would like to be placed on the waiting list please email me!

SHIPPING

Local orders are shipped by Singpost. Registered mail costs may or may not apply. Local registered mail costs $2.24 – please indicate if you require this in your order.

Self-collection and personal delivery services (delivery fee may apply) are available for large orders – please email for enquiries.

Overseas orders are shipped by REGISTERED MAIL ONLY with a tracking number. Please ensure that there is someone at home to sign for the package. If the package is returned to Singapore the buyer will need to bear the cost of shipping it again.

All jewellery is carefully packed in chiffon bags, boxes, or sealable plastic bags and posted in bubble padded envelopes.

EXCHANGES/REFUNDS

I am not responsible for any damage caused by handling at the post office, either in Singapore or overseas. Loss of packages is not common but customers are advised to opt for registered postage to track their packages. At the moment, I do not offer insurance on packages mailed.

I do not accept exchanges or do refunds once the item has been mailed.

In the rare case where a refund is absolutely necessary, store credit will be issued to the customer.

I am happy to provide lifetime repair service for your jewellery provided it has been purchased from Mel’s Curiosity Shoppe. Service is complimentary but replacement of parts is chargeable.

I do not do wholesale or remakes.

If you are interested in holding a personal jewellery party at your home for your friends, please contact me at paigealexis@gmail.com . I will bring a selection of designs including new pieces fresh from the workshop and not online so you and your friends get first dibs! Some custom work (depending on intricacy) can also be done, so you can custom-make your pieces on the spot! As a host, you will be entitled to receive a 10% commission on total sales (minimum $200 in sales) which you can redeem in cash or kind! If more than $400 in sales is made, I will custom make a piece of jewellery for you absolutely FREE (value of $50). Isn’t that great?? You get to hang out with friends and shop all in the comfort of your own home, plus you get to own beautiful, unique designs that are made especially for you. Bookings must be made one month in advance.
